Melisa Olsen

Ms. Olsen is a highly skilled and dedicated paralegal professional with over 13 years of experience in the legal field. She has worked in Immigration, Commercial Real Estate, and Family Law. However, for the past eight years, Ms. Olsen has worked in Personal Injury, both trial-based and non-trial.

She truly enjoys performing legal research and drafting legal documents. For Ms. Olsen, organization is key to managing case files and complex legal information. Ms. Olsen is also well-versed in the latest legal software and technology, making her an invaluable asset to any legal team.

Ms. Olsen firmly believes that asking questions, taking notes, and reviewing the answers are essential tools in being an exceptional Paralegal.  She credits her knowledge to a few of the brightest attorneys she’s worked with and continues working with. Their passion for the law, advocating for clients, and being excellent, patient teachers, has been Ms. Olsen’s source of inspiration to succeed in this industry

Ms. Olsen is a proud graduate of the University of St. Thomas, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Political Science and graduated with Honors. She is a lifetime member of the Pi Sigma Alpha National Political Science Honor Society Fraternity.

Outside of the office, Ms. Olsen enjoys cooking, running, writing, and traveling. However, the word Ms. Olsen identifies most with is mom. She and her husband, Andrew, have 2 kids, Summer and Luke…and 5 dogs, all of which are rescues.
