Cody Miller Pyke, JD, MD, LLM
Dr. Cody Miller Pyke joined Mousilli Law’s Houston office in 2024, bringing a unique blend of legal and medical expertise to the firm. With dual qualifications as an attorney and physician, Dr. Pyke assists clients in navigating the legal complexities of the healthcare, biomedical, and biotechnology industries. As an experienced litigator, she zealously advocates for clients in both state and federal courts across a wide array of commercial and business disputes.
Beyond her legal practice, Dr. Pyke is an active author, lecturer, and speaker on health law and policy issues affecting individuals in Texas and nationwide. She additionally serves as an Adjunct Professor at the Tilman J. Fertitta Family College of Medicine at the University of Houston, where she teaches medical students about ethical, legal, and policy issues in healthcare.
Outside of her professional roles, Dr. Pyke is esteemed as a Fellow of the American College of Legal Medicine and a former Vice President on the Board of Directors for the National Perinatal Association. In a testament to Dr. Pyke’s commitment to community welfare, Harris County Precinct 4 Commissioner Lesley Briones appointed her to the Harris Health System’s Board of Trustees in 2023, where she currently serves as the Board’s Vice Chair.
